Description: If I have a vector expressed in one basis, we can compute what that vector is expressed in a different basis via the formula derived in this video.

Learning Objectives:
1) Write a vector (given in the standard basis) as a matrix times the vector written in a new basis.
2) Write a vector (given in this new basis) as the inverted matrix times the vector written in the standard basis
3) Given a vector in one basis, write the vector in some other basis.

This video is part of a Linear Algebra course taught at the University of Cincinnati.

this is so very clear the way you explained it... or maybe the previous videos that led to this one in such a sequence made it make this much more sense lol idk but i finally see how change of basis works! Thank you Dr. Bazett!!!

Is the formula to get the change of basis formula C_inverse * B, or B* C_inverse. I'm just looking for the change of basis matrix and getting it simply.
