While this background is more late 80s than late 90s, it's still nostalgic for me because my Mom's company was a bit outdated, and she did love her beige silky tops. She was an accountant and her cubicle was oriented almost the exact same way, same gray panels, height, and lighting. Towards that left corner of the table is where you'd walk in and she'd always have a mini plastic lizard just to occasionally catch people off-guard. I remember my Dad taking me to her office to all have lunch with her on the boardwalk, since it was situated on the river downtown. Then once I got my learner's permit, I was eager to show off how I could drive myself there. She changed departments a few times, but every time I'd visit we'd do a parade around the floor as she would repeat whatever my recent academic accolades were. I felt like a spectacle but I really understand now she was just proud of me. And especially being 35 now at a large company, I know how monotonous the day could be and how much of a second wind my short visits would give her.

Love these office playlists, although I don't like working in most offices. This music is way (is 'way' still used today? Lol, my niece pointed it out like it's obsolete...) better than what offices in the 1990s usually played.
