Japanese Awa Odori dance not dampened by rain.

Показать описание
This dance is called the awa odori. It's been danced in the prefecture tokushima and is a bon odori. Though im not sure if this video is from tokushima. Usually, these bon odori are danced to welcome the spirits of the dead.
Every region dances the bon odori a bit differently and even man and women have a different style in their arrhythmic movements. Sincit's believed that the folk song is from the edo timeline and based on the haiya-bushi song, its also called the aho odori (dance of the fool/jester).
It turned into quite a big dance festival over the last decades. The deeper going tradition behind it is interesting and reminds me a bit of all hallows eve.
