Alloy Wheel & Tyre Insurance Explained | Complete Wheel Cover Guide

Car2Cover has just launched a Combined Tyre and Alloy Wheel Insurance – Some people refer to it as Complete Wheel Insurance.

The insurance provides;

- Up to 5 Alloy Wheel repairs (including Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels)
- Up to 5 damaged Tyre replacements (including Run Flat tyres) a choice of claim payment levels available up to £450 per tyre.
- Puncture repairs where tyre is repairable

Alloy Wheels are repaired at the policyholders home or place of work wherever possible, so the motorist doesn’t lose the use of the car for the day, more serious damage would require the vehicle to be taken to an alloy wheel engineering workshop of the policyholders choosing. Customers choose their preferred or nearest tyre retailer for repairs or replacements.

The policy covers accidental and malicious damage and typical causes of damage include, kerbing, pothole impact, road debris etc

**No excess to pay per claim**

• It’s available for cars up to 7 years old and under 70,000 miles at the time of buying cover,
• It can only be purchased where the car was either leased, financed or purchased from a motor dealer or leasing company.
• The policy is only available to buy within 30 days of vehicle delivery
• If vehicle is a used vehicle, customer is required to create a short car walkaround video to show wheels and tyres are undamaged at the point the policy was purchased.
• If the vehicle is new, there is no need to provide a video.
• There is no limit to the size of wheel or tyre
