I got in Costco this day, and unfortunately I didn’t realize it was reporting earnings that day and flunked, a 13%+ drop 😅 talk about bad fortune 😅 thanks anyways!

I disagree - volume might be the single most important thing right now, especially in algotrading and fomo driven market era. Together with order book analysis and liquidation it pool helps you to determine (via your models and algorithms, because you can't quantify it objectively without quantitative framework) if a move is "for real" or if it's a simple chart painting by MM. If you're a day trader it seems like a must-have. If you don't trade, then you kinda don't care about underlying asset dynamics (like volume and candlesticks patterns) and you can really on a simple structure like bar chart.
