I totally agree with your points, especially the downsizing. We purged 80% to move states and not pay to move items we didn't love or use. We are a family of 7 and I worried the kids would miss all the toys and games we purged, but not at all! Our lives got better, less depressive, less stressful and we started going out more and doing fun things. It's been 9 years since the 'great purge' and I've not missed a single item and grateful we did it. We're now on a 15 acre homestead with goats, pigs, turkeys, ducks and too many chickens to count! Life is good without the clutter or overstuffed home and in a smaller space.

Your advice is on point! We built our tiny house too. We are minimalist as well we used to leave 6 yrs in a travel trailer we lived like that semi off the grid But because we wanted electricity we moved. Anyhow Your property looks amazing! My chickens roam free all day and boy do they root out many of my new planted flowers and young bushes.
The moment they see me digging and planting a new plant, for them is dinner time signal to come near and scratch at the base often braking branches off and digging pretty deep and killing my flowers.
I shoo them away but the moment I go back inside or im not at home they do as they please.
