US pilots get to fly more than their rivals. Significantly more. That constant training tempo has yielded results. Plus, the US has a lot of pilots. Roughly 3 pilots per aircraft. 🤠

The current USAF has limited experience in live air to air combat against an adversary that has equivalent capable aircraft.
Most have lower generation craft apart from the likes of Russia and China
