ButtKicker Gamer Plus Review - Feel The Noise (And A Bit More)

You know it's good when you can't bear switching it off. I've known about ButtKicker for years and years but I've never felt like I needed one. Now I'm using one, I don't really understand how I was satisfied without it. A device that truly adds a new layer of sensation to sim racing, a genuinely new discovery for me after so many years.

I'm currently running 7 shakers on my rig via a home theater receiver. The immersion it adds is amazing. As for the vibration of everything else around the rig, I purchased some industrial dampening springs, like for large AC compressors. It is what the Slip-Angle kit provides with it's full setup. There is absolutely no vibration outside of the rig and because the rig can physically move on the springs, the vibration is even more intense.

I have the Advanced Buttkicker that is 400watts. I can't seam to find any new ones. But it is a beast. Mount that thing to the bottom of your seat.

There are belts and vests that do the same thing. They’d be better for people who have neighbors.
I also have haptics built into my headphones that definitely add more immersion.
If you can go with Atmos surround sound and subs, do it!

thanks for the video! So tempted to get one. Do vibrations propagate through the floor? I have subs for music but neighbors never said anything. Do you think this could be a nuisance for my neighbors living underneath?
