Wireless Power for a Smarter and More Reliable Internet of Things
Nikola Labs demonstration shows wireless power transfer over distances up to 30 feet (10 meter). It has two components, a transmitter tower and receiver card. The transmitter sends a 2.4 GHz radio signal, a portion of which is captured on the antenna built into the receiver card. Proprietary circuitry on the card efficiently converts the received radio frequency (RF) energy into direct current (DC) power, which is used to illuminate the blinking LED lights.
