Loews Theatres - Sesame Street Muppets Policy Trailer (1996) [4K] [5.1] [FTD-1229]

1000 scans ago we scanned a scope version of this policy trailer and since then we have come across a flat version that also has a 5.1 digital audio track on it. When Loews created the scope version, they simply cropped the image. With this re-upload you now have the ENTIRE image, now in 4K and with 5.1 digital audio. Enjoy, and don't forget to watch the movie.

Great transfer! Just imagine all those puppeteers crammed in down on the floor and behind the seats! Too bad they couldn't find an old trailer or something for Oscar to handle at 1:25 instead of unprocessed negative.

Few extra seats empty where Chicago The Lion is and even the rows behind him. Possibly Sully, Forgetful Jones, Buster The Horse, Sherlock Hemlock, Gladys The Cow, Guy Smiley, Don Music, Sherry Netherland and Hoots The Owl. Some of these who had no voices as their performers passed away before this, they could appear as background characters. Still it would be good to see every single character. We know Snuffy can't fit in but he should have been there

I think this might be shown in front of “The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland”.

Maybe this should have been revived for theatrical showings of “The Muppets (2011)” and “Muppets Most Wanted”.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was shown before Muppet Treasure Island (just like how A Brief History of Motion Pictures (another Sesame Street policy trailer) was shown before Muppets from Space on some Loews/Cineplex Odeon prints)
