Shot at The Lincoln Theatre in Cheyenne, WY

Before Kanye West came to Wyoming, Jalan was our most famous musician.

It's really hard to put a stamp on Wyoming music, but Jalan get's pretty close. I think officially, Jalan Crossland was the first concert I ever went to. Hearing him play mountain music like he did, made me realize, this is Wyoming music.

As a 5 string banjo player I never had much respect for the banjitar until I saw this. Wow!

As a person who has worked in old restored theatres that now do music, it fills me with pride when the “talent” mention the building. As anyone that works in the industry knows, they are are our churches. Big Love ❤️

As a Scottish person, we don’t have music like this so this is a blessing

Thanks to Jalan Crossland and Western AF for bringing this honest, raw, unpolished tune, this is what keeps me coming for country..

I’ve listened to this about 100 times, and just realized, the thumbnail is him playing a 5 string and this song is on a 6 string.

*pats own back*

Had the pleasure of seeing him in Ten Sleep Wyoming just last night! So talented, funny and engaging! He had the crowd on their feet! The man can pick!!! I love his raspy voice, too. So happy to have been able to learn of him and hear him.

Always enjoy Jalan's talent. Everytime I've had the pleasure of a live performance over past nearly thirty years. We get to see him again soon in Hill City, SD.
