Excited to get my BP HDs in 6". And I ordered an urban logger. Plan to do some reviews on them. I also ordered a thermal version for when I travel outside of South Florida to more colder climates. (wife's family is in Colorado so we go for the winters often and we plan to move back, so I promise, they won't be wasted! lol)

Thanks for saying what you really think and not sugar coat all the marketing claims. Happy New Year!

Nice boot. I have never tried Nicks classic arch. A while back I found a RTS boot on the 55 last with a moderate heel and loved it so much that that is all I’ve ordered since.

Nice post and good info. I wear my 1964 brown 8" Overlanders every day now that it's cool-cold. Don't forget, the HNW last is great for us very flat footers. 🙂

I have no need for a pair of builder pro, but I want a pair lol. I agree with your POV on heel profiles. Truth is we are have diff shapes and sizes lol. For example the 11067 with a low block is a sweet spot for you, but may not fit another person.

Great video, I have a few pairs of Nicks with the moderate heel stack just because that’s what’s more comfortable to me, but yeah I’ve been watching Nicks lately and their QC is absolutely trash, I won’t buy Nicks again, it’s a great boot when they were done correctly but not anymore. Happy New year

The high heel stack is there t' provide room for the arch support, though. Otherwise, your outsoles will be dragging the ground in that area between the heel and the tread and will be a real issue on rocky ground I imagine. I reduced the heel on a logger that was NOT PNW build with no real issues so far, but don't see how that could happen w' the Packer or Builder Pro from these brands.
