[SBST] Moment of Impact - Bus smashes its side mirror off!

Maxson Goh Films an SBS Transit bus being involved in an accident which resulted in its side mirror being broken right off.

The camera was rolling for a project I had on hand regarding the newly opened Joon Koon Bus Interchange and I was just lucky to catch this on video.

That bus looked grumpy when the mirror came off lol

I was on a bus this afternoon when this exact same thing happened against a telegraph pole. Shows a lack of consideration by traffic engineers placing poles too near the kerb and bad design of the mirrors which should be on a spring loaded pivot.

These days interchanges and depots are built with very little room for error. Steer too early and your overhang hits the pillar or mount kerb. Steer too late and this happens...

Happens to my bus all the time going through bushes and trees in the british countryside. Just screw it back on
