A quiet afternoon at the port of Piraeus, we had the good fortune and opportunity to enjoy the departure of Mein Schiff 5, a cruise ship of TUI Cruises. TUI Cruises is a cruise line based in Germany. It was founded in 2007 as a joint venture between the German travel company TUI AG and the American cruise ship operator Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., both of which own a 50% stake in the company. The company started operating in 2009 and competes with AIDA Cruises for the German market.
