'Re-Presentation: A Pilipino Musical' Full Show | PSU Kaibigan's 17th Annual Pilipino Cultural Night

"Re-Presentation" is an original musical inspired by Filipino Revolutionary history during the Spanish Colonization of the Philippines. It's about a Filipino activist hip hop group in Portland, that becomes a target of the CIA.

"Re-Presentation" is the re-narration of Filipino history but re-imagined for Filipino-Americans today. the main protagonists are inspired by four historical figures: Jose Rizal (Josie), Emilio Aguinaldo (Emile), Andres Bonifacio (Andre), and Emilio Jacinto (Jac), who were instrumental in the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution. "Re-Presentation" emphasizes the question, "do you feel represented?" and if not, bring about the change it takes to achieve it.
