The most embarrassing day of my career as a US lecturing at a UK university was the day I tripped and fell and my jello salad oozed out of my handbag (no pockets because American women aren’t allowed to wear functional clothing) and onto my dress and all of my students pointed and laughed and called me a freaky American who reeked of lime jello and horseradish

I'm pretty sure I gave up worrying about my pocketful of jello salad during the pandemic. Times change...

As an American who's never heard of Jello salad, I can confirm we all love it.

Fair review, no bias, just what I like to see.

This man is a true hero of the British people. Just before she slipped away, I fully believe HM the Queen shed a single tear of joy knowing he would one day reveal the truth 🇬🇧

My grandmother used to make green jello “salad” at every holiday. It was horrific and traumatic, and I had to eat it because it was the only “vegetable” on the table. And yes, I am american

As an american i have to say, we do NOT care handfuls of this in our pockets. We carry special bags to keep it in! Our pockets are for guns not food

In elementary school, I always kept jello salad in my socks because my pockets were always full of countless amounts of rocks.

To every American in these comments section whining about this.

HE'S LITERALLY JUST DOING WHAT AMERICANS DO ALL THE TIME.

Pick out the most disgusting meals in British culture and compare them to the best America has to offer.

Watching Americans not understand that he’s just doing the exact same thing they do, and completely losing their shit over it, is hilarious.

The USA bias against British food is based on opinions formed during WW2 when there was rationing. Tbh ouside of grits, I don't know any dishes that are American.

Some people don’t keep their pocketful of jello anymore, I still put it in my shirt pocket and I have a bottle of soy sauce to enhance the flavor but that isn’t common anymore
