Keynote: GIS – Interconnecting Our World

Jack Dangermond, the founder and president of Esri, welcomes the conference and shares the Esri vision for GIS interconnecting our World - people, organizations, activities, and sciences. Esri offers a geospatial infrastructure, building modern GIS implementation patterns, leveraging services-based architecture and GIS portals. Individual systems are beginning to link together and share their data, interconnecting and bringing in services from external sources, uniting people and strengthening collaboration. GIS creates Digital Twins of the natural and built environment and uniquely integrates many types of digital models.
