Excellent video. Just what I needed. I DO want to be able to grind my wheat berries as well as nut flours, spices, coffee and beans. The one I was looking at doesn't do that and is much slower. Thanks for the video. The technical information helped me decide to buy this mill.

Hi Susies1955, You will most likely never have the brass bushings wear out but we offer the repair kit because a few preppers & survivalists have requested it as a just in case.

I'm sending this hand grain mill to our mission in Liberia, West Africa. We have no mains electricity. Light Evangelism Ministries has a school and an orphanage at the mission and we have a lot of mouths to feed. The brass bearings will not rust in the rainy climate. And a child being able to turn the handle is another plus. If this hand mill can tackle the oily grains and nuts and is easily kept clean then this is a big advantage. Soup thickeners are the thing more than baking.

Im guessing it would but we have never tested it before. You would want to use the steel burrs because it would glaze over the stone burrs. I will add this to the list of things for our testing team to try out.

took me a while to find the pulleys he was talking about. Google "grainger v-belt pulley 12 in 5/8 bore 1grv" or "grainger v-belt pulley 12 in 5/8 bore 1grv" to find the specific pulley. The 6 inch pulley is about $16 but you are most likely going to want the 12 inch pulley which is about $38. Neither of these pulleys are powder coated but you don't need them to be. I'm not sure I would call their price ridiculous but it is more than the pulleys at Graingers.

do any wondermill jr owners know just how long the stone heads last before they need replaced grinding primarily wheat, dent corn and beans ?   I guess I have the same question for the steel heads as well...   ty ty !

Can it grind Field corn?? Corn is one of the hardest grains I know of and I really need it to grind corn int a powder. Can this machine do the job???

The pulleys are not included and I don't beleive that any of our amazon dealers sell it on amazon. If you search for 'Wonder Junior pulley' in Google you should find a dealer who does sell it.
