The thing I like about this vs the Golf R, even if they use the same engine, is the interior. It’s just infinitely better in every way, shape and form. Actual buttons over Haptic Touch surface is infinitely better and definitive climate controls are so much more appreciated. Now if it had ventilated seats as well as the heated seats and a heads up display that would really make it perfect. Something I assume the RS3 will have when it officially arrives in the states in may

Great review. I like this new S3 but I wish they had kept the smaller steering wheel from the previous S3. You can spec the old wheel in Europe. Another thing I prefer from the previous version is the old climate control module with the knurled knobs. That was a great design.

Its hard to lean towards the S3, when the Golf R has not only the "better" AWD system, but also more creature comforts like ventilated and heated seats, heated steering wheel, a heads up display, and the optional manual transmission. As far as I can see, I don't even think you can build an S3 with ventilated seats or a heated steering wheel. The Golf R just seems like a bargain in comparison. I've owned a mk5 R32 and I've owned an S3, so I definitely have a love for the platform, but I think this time around, the Golf R is a better option... Thank you for these videos! Lots of people seem to be quite impressed by this gen S3 with Jonny Lieberman saying the similar thing, taking this over the M240i and Golf R. Maybe this car is worth test drive, but the RS3 is still my dream

My B9 A4 has the dimmer switch next to the headlight switch. It’s a little round knob that you push to pop it out. I imagine it’s similar on new Audis too. Love your vids man.
