My 26 year old cousin just passed from this. she had stage 4 brain cancer. She suffered for about 2 years. To anyone who has has this disease or have lives ones who are suffering my heart absolutely goes out to you.

I’m 69 years old. I have the unmethyated and IDHwt Glioblastoma. Everything I read said that chemo doesn’t work on my kind. I just finished a year of the 22/5 days of chemo. I exercised all year and feel better now than before Glioblastoma. I’m at month 17 and it hasn’t come back. I guess my life is just MRI to MRI now. Nobody knows why it didn’t come back in the average time. I think it’s because my mom is 96 and still sharp. Maybe people with slow aging have slower tumor growth.

I just got home from seeing my dad who has had GBM for 1.5yrs. He's already had 2 surgeries and along with the whole 9 yards. of treatments. I starting to see a pattern of steady decline over the last 2 weeks. First started with his ability to get on his feet, now I'm worried he may have a fall. His cognitive ability is also declining in areas or at least his ability to communicate what he means without errors.

My mother went in for a severe headache only to find out through an MRI that she had a tumor the size of a baseball. The surgery was a success. However they did a preliminary and diagnosed her with stage 4 brain cancer. I have so many questions to the answers that don’t seem to make sense. Day 2 of chemo and radiation my two younger sisters rushed our mother to the ER due to sever vomiting with a fever of over 100 . Only to be told she has Covid now. They gave her temporary meds to treat for Covid however sent her home with pending instructions from other doctors. Today is day three we are still waiting patiently for these instructions. Does anyone know what happens if someone has Covid during chemo and radiation? Do they continue? 😢
