KC have you guys tried, putting dry ice on top of the dynomat, letting it set for a while, then tapping it with a mallet to break it apart. I've never done it with dynomat, but several times with factory sound deading material, made removal much, much, easier.

Wear rubber gloves under welding gloves to help eliminate metal shavings while grinding cutting or what ever.
