If you’re in the market for an electric vehicle (EV) but the ravings of a megalomaniac have taken a certain brand off your shortlist, you aren’t alone. A growing percentage of shoppers have become too disenchanted to consider driving a Tesla, which is unfortunate but entirely understandable. It also means Audi’s most unassuming electric crossover could be a viable alternative. While it’s still short of the likes of the Tesla Model Y when it comes to range, mid-year updates make the 2024 Audi Q4 E-Tron more competitive than ever.

The Audi weighs about 400kg (900lbs) more than the Tesla - and nearly of this extra weight is accounted for in extra quality.

You can currently lease a program q4 for 1 year for $4500 to $5000 one pay. A lot of vehicle to drive around for a year for that price.

Default one pedal driving is perfect for making passengers puke onto the leather upholstery & carpet. Leather seats and stomach acid/drool go together wonderfully.

I'm seeing 1 yr old Q4s for 48-55k. I realize it's the 50 version but that's quite a drop in depreciation. I also looked at 1 yr old i4 40s and 40 xdrives and they are 65-73k 1 yr old. I don't get it. That i4 40 xdrive new before taxes is 20k more than a Model 3 AWD. Yes it's nicer inside but boy that's a lot more.

Dan, Are you really being fair to megalomaniacs when you compare them to that ?

No ventilated front seats on the car at that price point, a luxury one at that? No thank you.

DO NOT BUY IT, cuz we are stuck with this thing.
3 month of ownership and we already hate it. Audi designed these regenerative brakikg system which is awfully flawed. Brakes are spongier than 1985 blazer. I almost rear ended people within 1st month of buying this thing. If you have to come to a sudden stop doing just 45 mph? Good luck! Your pedal will go right to floor, took it to dealership and lot of research online to find out that's just how these brakes operate.

Stay away from this garbage thats full of plastic, with no memory seats and you mileage will disappear in no time driving this thing on highway.
