I truly believe ITF Taekwon-Do Sparring would be so much more exciting if it was full contact. There is way too many rules, the action always starts, and stops from the referee giving out warnings and fouls all the time. All this and more really does make it quite dull and boring. It Essentially is pretend fighting and it is going to teach you bad habbits for not striking with full power and speed

I do think we should go back to more Karate style comps as ours is a bit too sports based and could do with a bit more umpff 🤗
