The bunkers mentioned, with the exception of Cheyenne mountain, are decommissioned or semi decommissioned. The current facilities are not publicly known. Air Force One would only stay airborne so long as it takes to travel to a secure location. Air Force One is harden against EMP damage. The actual power would be with a general or group of senior officers in a functional secure locations. The video is interesting, but was produced for public consumption. There are many layers to prevent nuclear strike against the US, most of them extremely classified.

And most of the rich or powerful and famous would survive since most own huge bunkers in chile, new Zealand and Australia. Many states along mountains and huge plain away from cities have underground bunkers and even colonies. It's safe to say most if the middle of America would survive atleast for a while.

The Greenbriar was decommissioned because its existence was released to the Public. When I was stationed in Germany in the early 80's (I am cold war Desert Shield/Storm era) we would be put on Alert, it's basically playing war games. We would launch are Aircraft with Simulated Nuclear Weapons, and the Pilots would be told that after their "Strike" to land anywhere they could or Eject becausethe Base would be destroyed. The Pilots also had an Eyepatch to wear over one eye to protect the eye from going blind due to Brightness of Nuclear Detonations.

Just a suggestion learn about the Nuclear football and biscuit with the US nuclear triad system kind of scary or M.A.D (Mutual Assured Destruction) for first, second or third counterstrike.

It is scary to think about, but it's a scenario we must consider as there's enough people who hate what we stand for AND have nukes (Kim Jong rocket boy for example) its foolish to not have some plan in place.
