I think a lot of people, including myself, tend to get caught up in the technical aspects of film making. Things like the camera quality, lighting, etc. instead of actually focusing on the actual storytelling elements of a film. This was one of only a handful a film applications that I have seen that actually told a real good and interesting story. Sure, some of the technical areas could be worked on, but the overall story was great! Other applications that I've seen seem to really focus on the visual aspects and the story is very weak. I love this short film, because it helps me remember why I love film so much. Nothing is better than telling a great story, and you hit the nail on the head.
