I only watched Rooney in Carol, and I didn’t imagine that she would talk like that. Her voice is a lot deeper than I thought it would be. I imagined it as one of those voices where the tone is English/British without the accent.

THIS CATE'S HAIR STYLING IN CANNES REMINDS ME THE OTHER GODESS: JULIA ROBERTS! IN MY OPINION, THESE TWO WOMEN ARE TOP OF THE TOPS IN THE INTERNATIONAL CINEMATOGRAPHY. The scene was important for the movie. If everything was just platonic, the movie would not have been as gripping.

Cates always brilliant, and has one of my favorite screen presence since hmm Diane Lane in Unfaithful. Even she could have played that part, VERY well. Then again they are two of my favorite actresses, though you don't see much of Diane these days. Ronney is "cute" so her innocence was very good as well. Though I would have preferred someone like Carey Mulligan MUCH more. Wow. lol Alright, "sweats" enough.
