I personally prefer performance and user experience.
Phones are made to be used, not just like model kit in the desk. And many good phone case/sticker out there.
A laggy phone will giving emotional damage.
Thanks for the review.

Xiaomi made the X3 Pro so good they had to downgrade this year's offering so we buy the higher tier offerings like the F series

Maybe POCO will improve the performance with updates, as new phones usually have a few bugs/inefficiencies which need ironing out. There shouldn't be any lags with a SD695, so it's the software at fault.

Very nice review. Surprised to see what Mobile Phone companies want to do in 2022. Almost all the models have been downgraded in terms of chipset from their predecessors!

It's a chip shortage issue. Lots of devices are taking a less powerful chip than first designed. Even the playstation 5 will get a cheaper chip in coming production due to the chip shortage.
Many of the android phones couldn't get 888 and ended up with 870.

The most honest phone review ever. Good job 👍👍👍

Performance in ui is a software issue, not a hardware one.
It has 2 high power cores instead of 4 in the 860 so the benchmarks will score much lower but the UI will not use all those cores at the same time for the UI animations.

I have a 3 year old mi 9T with sd 730 and the performance is flawless despite it being slower then sd 695.

i feel like most of the ppl don't use 2 sim cards but still many phones give you that option over 1 sim + micro sd. is it a thing in china to use 2 sims?

Your reviews helped me decide to buy the Poco F3 - same screen as this one, but much faster processer for about the same price.

Many years ago my most exciting Smartphone experience was taking a gamble on buying the Meizu MX4 Pro in the UK for £360 way back in 2014!
It still is my most exciting Smartphone purchase ever because of just how Flagship the Meizu was compared to everything else on the market in it's price bracket!

I still own Poco X3 Pro alongside with my daily driver OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G.
Btw, I really like the Poco X4 Pro design and a few upgrades such as 5G built-in, camera 108 megapixels and AMOLED display. But there is a downgrade which is the processor.
Those who are going for heavy gaming such as Genshin Impact, Poco X3 Pro still the best for very budget gaming device out there (still getting stable 60fps at medium settings but a bit lag/can't maintain 60fps at high or highest settings) while Poco X4 Pro still can run Genshin Impact but need play at lowest 60fps is highly recommended to play it smoothly.
If talking about power consumption, Poco X4 Pro have the best battery consumption because of 6nm chipset and 2 performance cores+6 efficiency cores.
Do expect that it will use a bit less powerful GPU on the Poco X4 Pro compared to Poco X3 Pro for those who are hard core gamers and might have little or more lag if you go higher than recommended settings in game.

Another downgrade would be UFS 2.2 storage instead of UFS 3.1 on the X3 pro. I'd skip this and probably go with the F3. That's for those who want the best bang for buck. Looks like the new F4 or they may name it F5 would be released within the next few months since the K50 series is due to launch in a few days.

Well tbh, the SD 695 is quite powerful with it's latest cortex A-78 cores. It's just that there are only 2 of them and it's clocked at a lower 2.2 Ghz. Of course it's less powerfull that the 778G and 860 because of core formations and clock speed, but it's not as bad that it wouldn't be able to handle the UI. I think that's just 'optimization' issue from poco, or xiaomi. It should get better with time. But still, it's a downgrade from previous generation in terms of pure performance for sure.
