Parties reject Western Cape vote results

IEC responds to parties raising objections to the results in the Western Cape. "Whether there's merit in their allegations, that's something to be determined. They will be investigated by the commission," IEC's Michael Hendricks says.

My sister in law were turned away in Kirstenbosh. She is 79 and was told she could not go to the front of the line, must just stay there. No special treatment and people were in line for 5 hours as the scanners were not working. She went back 3 x times then gave up, she was so upset.

People this year were not taking chances voting for small parties... DA was the only choice of a party that would be able to compete strongly... no one wanted to take a chance to waste a vote on a smaller party.... the number of parties on that list was ridiculous...
