ACL-02 James, THE BROTHER of JESUS

What have you done in your life so far that will outlast your memory here on earth. In other words, if you are not George Washington, Lincoln, Napoleon or someone like that, what will remain beyond you? This morning I am going to invite you to be a part of the only thing that lasts! The Bible clearly says that God has set the rules and only what is done for Christ will last. This morning serving Christ as a part of His church is all that can last.
James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. (KJV)
James presents to us unvarnished Pioneer or Classic Christianity. He is speaking as the Pastor of the real 1st church!
“JAMES” was one of four brothers and two sisters of Jesus who were fully children of Joseph and Mary. Jesus was born through the supernatural conception known as the virgin birth. James rose to the place of pastoring the church at Jerusalem. He is profiled in Acts 12:17, 15:13-21, 21:18; Galatians 2:9-10.
JAMES IS THE VISIBLE LEADER OF THE JERUSALEM CHURCH. (Note the apostle James dies in Acts 12:2). Acts 12:17 But motioning to them with his hand to keep silent, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, "Go, tell these things to James and to the brethren." And he departed and went to another place. (NKJV)

I try to be a servant of God.
Why do people get so angry when you talk about Jesus to them?!
My mom, sisters, and adult children?!
I try different bible stories.
I try to show by the way I live.
Yes, I pray on it. Maybe I don't pray the right way? I don't understand the anger.
I was raised Catholic, didnt find Christ until my late 40s and I didn't push away people or get angry, so I dont understand.

Both Luther and Calvin held to Mary's perpetual virginity. When did Protestantism give up this original doctrine. Do you think it is a problem when supposed Christians can't get their beliefs straight?

What is it like to be a brother of Jesus?
When anyone calls for Jesus, you show and act as you know Jesus would act.
That's the world's hardest apprenticeship.
The furnace that refines gold or leaves only ashes.
Jesus couldn't downplay Mary's role as his mother any more than if he had thrown her in the dirt. He denied that it was any kind of particular blessing that she was his mother. She was as acceptably good a mother as the best mothers of her time. Jesus had no complaints about his mother, but he resisted any suggestion of mother or mother goddess worship.
Jesus anticipated what people would do with his story, and he warned people about how scriptures and religion/philosophy, mythology, etc. would attempt to distract from his words about God's law and how to live in accordance with it in a way that fulfills your soul, and frees your spirit.
Don't labor under a heavy mother.
It is no place for a son of God.

Dear John, thank you for all those trues ! Its allowed me to make a deeper analysis of my life under the universal scope of Christ Jesus. The human works for salvation thing is indeed the poison that you speak about and I could see how one remains in total obscurity of Christ's teachings when one decides to adhere by religious works. We have a duty to love God in spiritual truth and not by the ways of the world.

When Jesus was lost in the temple as a boy, how come they were able to name His brothers if they were younger than He is? The Jewish culture at that time, never acknowledge a boy until he reached the acceptable age.
