The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) has been hailed as the world's largest free-trade area. It started operating on the 1st of January this year. It's expected to create a market of 1.2 billion people and the eighth largest economic bloc in the world with a 3 trillion dollar combined GDP. The trade law centre, Tralac today hosted a webinar on the finalisation of trade negotiations.
