Passat CKRA AdBlue/DEF/SCR lock/no start Bypass

Quick video outlining the procedure to temporarily bypass the SCR lock no start condition making it possible to drive the car to the shop instead of being towed.
This gives you an additional 50km until the next no start condition. This cannot be used to add addition mileage to the countdown only provide 50km after the SCR lock is active.

had this same issue with my sisters 2013 passat CKRA. the reductant tank and NOx sensor was bad and was covered under the dieselgate warranty but thank you for showing the remove SCR lock.. will come in handy.

how did you connect the laptop to the car? what connection did you use? I don't see any info on that part.

Replaced the Nox sensor, fuel temp sensor, the complete pump assembly with all sensors, and the DEF tank, been to the dealership twice... still doesn’t work. They seem to just reset it and then by the time I make it back home the warning comes back on..

Tried obd eleven to clear the no start code to no avail do i need to let the mileage reach 0? She has 5 miles remaining. When scanned nox sensor bank 1 pos 1 came up. So when i replace nox will the tank level reset? I have vcds coming in on Mon

Hey you seem pretty knowledgeable, struggling to ID the issue, but will do this and log my live data of sensors. The system can be costly, so does Kerma tune basically fix these issues? Or does emissions still need ti be fixed

I did 800km after it came to 0 and than parked and searched for solution. So i found your video end did it. I think they did it on purpose as it had error on tank level and on heater after component test all fine and restart worked so if it is not software problem on purpose no sense. If i changed something i would be glad but as i fixed i sold the car after few days and bought my selve LT 1997 2.5tdi euro2 for family and so now i do not worry about electronics.

I had it with a golf type r. Ran out of adblue had the car won't start message
, all I did was fill the adblue, turn the ignition, but don't turn it over just turn it on for 30seconds and it reset and I could start the car

I have 2014 vw passat. The Adblue came on before and I was able to get it to the dealership and couldn't start it. So they pushed it in to the shop. They couldn't figure it out a week later I went back to pick up the car. I asked what the problem was and they couldn't say. It just started working. Now the Adblue came on again, I have refilled and the light is still on. I tried looking online and I can't find a way to reset it. HELP ME PLZ! I'm down to 55mi

Josh is there a way to reset it def system just installed through VW just ran out thinking it would reset after filling up after turning it off. I’m a idiot was wrong new to the def thing
