I replaced my TAMA flat legged classic hihat stand $99, with the PDP 700 hi hat stand $69 and the PDP is fantastic for me. Light, sturdy, doesn't rock back and forth and has smooth action. Perfect ❤️. Disappointed in TAMA. It swayed back and forth like no one ever tested it before selling them. I'm selling my TAMA drums. Bought and PDP Concept Maple Classic Bop and it's the best sounding drums ever. Love these babies. Shocked how good they are.

Never get a 2 legged hi hat stand. Unless on hard floor, they bounce
