One board breaks, say goodbye to the guy on the end. That looks sketchy AF.

Look at Greg standing 60' wall all by himself. Hero. Legend. Greg.

I do a lot of heavy rigging in my business, a spreader bar would make that 10xs easy.
Take either a beam, even a.lomg wooden beam and hook the rig to the center of it.and the use 3 or 4 shorter straps rigged straight down. Thin center and even out at the ends. This will.allow you to.pick the wall with even pressure.across all of it and not risk damage or injury.

Can’t believe you guys will wear fall pro on a 4/12 but then you’ll stand under this suspended load

it seems Greg was struggling. Or was he just trying to make it look hard.

I have a Kubota too but with a John Deere track loader, you can mechanically lock the arms up while inside the cab so that when you get out of the cab under the loaded arms it's safer.

Why the f is a person underneath a wall in a potential deadly spot? I sweat you have no concerns for safety at times. 🥵

Having the right tool for the job makes a difference!
I had to build my walls vertical a stick at a time!
I was blessed having a neighbor who had a big Kubota tractor. We did boom the rafters up and secured them!
That would be a struggle getting a 30’ rafter on top of a 10’ wall if you had to do it by hand!

Why didn't they put the crane thing in the middle of the wall and not have the guy standing under it while being lifted. Dosent seem so smart to me

Do you guys ever use the bracket holes with a thru bolt to keep the post from slipping out & kicking?

Poor Greg, standing under that post.
He’s strong enough to hold it if that strap breaks

How much is it to build a barn that size ?

Everywhere else has strict safety requirements, yet you guys get away with this?

Looks like Greg is 15' tall if wall is 60'

I must say though that is a sweet ass way to put that up

One thing I do know standing up a wall like that racks the wall loosens all the connections on everything, when everything is racked in the way this wall was racked. When lifting up a wall specially the size it Hass to be a controlled lift. You need to run stiffeners across the entire wall and have 2 to 3 machines lifting up the wall at the same time onto the hold downs.
Looking at this it feels like some amateur people trying to make it happen and look cool. Big-time ego move or they’re running low on cost and had to cut corners by lifting up the wall. In this Mickey Mouse fashion.
Well, I guess that’s why they’re building post beam structures not million dollar homes 😂

I'd love to hear your reasoning behind that. In the past you have pretty much done three and four bay lifts, so I'm curious what made this one different.

Shout out to the guy flying the drone who volunteered to record since the Crane position was taken….
