Infinite Liquid storage Oxygen not included #shorts

Показать описание
For all the duplicants that want to store water and liquid in a compact space.
An easy unlimited liquid storage for Oxygen not included.

Tips:
You can use every heavy non volatile, non-off-gasing liquid to store a less heavy liquid.

Pitfalls:
If you use less or equal to 30 kg of heavy liquid it can be destroyed.
Tests in my world destroyed 10 to 30kg at random.

Straight to point, fine concept, good execution, and great music. This is the best!

Sir we have a leak! **the planetoid turns into the water planetoid**

i use this mechanic to make simple, break free electrolysers. you put a smidge of pol water on it then cover in water and run, the gases will sort themselves and store infinitley. i had one of those set ups run for like 100 cycles and it has 2000 kg of oxygen per tile still sitting in there.

That's crazyily ingenious, thank you for simplifying my water storage needs

I'm suprised that Klei never patched this. It's already been a few years!

I don't understand why is it so complicated. To make infinite liquid storage you just need enclosed space (with airlocks) and a little bit of gas in it. Put liquid vent on the ceiling and that's all. You don't need to bring oil or anything. And it is A LOT more compact. 5 cells (without borders) with just one pump and +4 for each additional pump. As compact as possible.

This is really cool, I created the same concept on accident, when I had water on airflow tiles, and could not figure out where it all had gone, and found it hiding in the corner. This looked really good, and I need to try this out!

Thank you for not making one of those 40min videos like most of the video for this game lol

From a physical stand point the water is being infinitely compressed by the air around it.

Me when my water storage has the density of a neutron star

With the right piping, there's also room for a tepidizer and cooling loop.

I prefer the 6 door method and one pump. No oil needed. Just one air tile.

At first i thouth that liquid oxygen would have freeze the oil, and then i realized it was just water. Anyhow, nice and cheap solution, i've always used doors compression for gas and liquid, i'll give it a try.

this is actually great, i normally use the vent at the top and just use a door and let oxygen in the top. this is actually simpler cause you dont have to worry about dupes opening a door and ruining everything lol.

I use a similar design, but instead of crude oil you can just use polluted water, not recommended for colony consumption, but it works nonetheless. You could also use salt water, it is cleaner but requires you to find salt water

When i heard the term "infinit liquid storage" i imagined it was something to do with a liquid vent sumburged in a different type of liquid, but this is a nice refernce! Now i just need to figure out how to tame that cool steam vent
