The greed has gotten so bad that they openly commit treason as if it were just another business deal.. that's terrifying

The place where they met, 666 5th Ave - isn't that the building owned by Jared Kushner?

Donald Trump asks Russia to break the law to benefit his campaign on live TV, then directs his people to follow through. What does this guy need to do to get in trouble?

it's certainly easy to verify if Manafort had asked for polling data from the Trump campaign (in order to be able to pass it on to a third party). Kellyanne Conway was chief pollster and analyst, Brad Parscale was diigital media director. As campaign chairman & chief strategist It's unlikely Manafort did the polling work himself. Therefore, he would have asked for the information, either directly or indirectly.

"666 5th Ave, the Grand Havana penthouse" Come on now If there is any address that a person would go to in order to make a deal with the devil its got to be this address. Im willing to bet that the devil himself actually resides at this address.

Real journalism matters. We can hear about the fall of America. Too bad we can't stop it.

Thank you WP, good report, but could you just leave out the tragically-hip background music for once? You need it (clue: you don't need it) for what? We would much rather just absorb the info without loosing 50% of our concentration trying to mitigate the weird tonal dirge behind her. I'm spooked enough just by what she's relating without the weird ghost music. Now please excuse me while I go yell at Philip and Elizabeth Jennings to get off my lawn.

Manafort is taking life and his name will be destroyed as long as they teach that chapter of American History. Some things aren't worth getting rich over, remember that.

-- > Good report but it's a presumption that Trump was mocking when he said, "Russia if you're listening..." What he was doing is creating a conspiracy scandal similar to what Paul Manafort did for Russian backed candidate, Viktor Yanukovyich, in Ukraine. That one characterization of mocking is what Trump supporters would use to deny the truth, dismiss the facts and justify what Trump did.
....Also, what Trump said directly after is. "Let;s see if that happens." That sounds like a much different motivation to me.

-- > Inspector General Horowitz said, "Clinton's aide was hacked, she never shared confidential information with a third party, and she was never even a subject of the email investigation."  A private server was not against the rules until 2 years AFTER she stepped down as Secretary of State. The department had not gone after other government officials who had used private servers or commercial email accounts before the rule change.

Hillary Clinton's server was not under subpoena when her lawyers were asked to turn over work related emails and then get rid of emails that were more than 60 days old in 2013. The server was not subpoenaed until March 2015... The sever had already been destroyed.

... but, as t turned out, her IT guy had a backup and was the one who turned over the so-called "deleted" emails to the FBI. Out of the 30, 000 emails, her lawyers had missed about 30 work related emails relating to Benghazi but they made no difference in the investigation .... which is why the server was subpoenaed.
