Hey Dr Neil, great video as always, just had a quick question about 4:26, you state that OCP individuals “can’t function”, I thought Obsessive compulsive personality persons tend to be orderly, schedule things and make future plans which is egosyntonic. This is in contrast to OCD, where they have compulsions that really accomplish nothing, washing their hands 20 times etc.

A little confused about that, at least this is how First aid kinda explained it. Thanks!

Very helpful sir...just want to add one thing that Obsessive compulsive personality disordered guys are highly functional as OCPD is ego syntonic thing, they want everything upto date..they are contrary OCD people are less functional nd can't achieve their desired goals as OCD is ego dystonic...Compulsions which are time consuming come in their way to achieve goals
