We spent a weekend from Sydney in Southern Highlands visiting Bowral, Kangaroo Valley, Robertson, Moss Vale and Berry. You can indeed make it a gorgeous day trip from Sydney too, being just 1h30m on a direct train to Bowral! In this Southern Highlands guide, we share what our weekend from Sydney looked like, filming with a drone and GoPro8.
In this Bowral guide, you'll discover the best places to eat and things to do in the area including: Harrys On Green Lane, The Press Shop, Plantation Cafe, Dirty Janes and Lancelot Hill. We drive over to Moss Vale to check out the incredible hidden gem, Red Cow Farm, complete with a turquoise pond, and stunning gardens - a must visit!
Our Kangaroo Valley guide will take you through the gorgeous Moss Vale Drive, with drone footage of Fitzroy Falls, Belmore Falls and Carrington Falls. You'll see the main street of Kangaroo Valley, plus the gorgeous General Cafe to have breakfast.
We then drive along the stunning Upper Kangaroo Valley to visit the beautiful Flat Rock Waterhole - a must visit!
Then we head over to Belmore Falls where you'll see drone footage of one of the best waterfalls in Sydney!
Up next if the beautiful town of Robertson, and one of the big things of Australia - the big potato! We head over to the incredible Carrington Falls before stopping off at the Jamberoo Lookout and to try the famous Berry donuts!
