Software is interesting. On the one hand, AI software development tools make it much easier to bring new software to market, but on the other hand that makes moats smaller. I think some software which can support their moats will do well and others not so much. AI means a lot of mediocre to average coders will be out of a job.

Well, also cars/EVs are very expensive and last long. Add to this that Tesla will GO FROM EXPENSIVE/Low margin EVs to LOW COST/HIGH MARGIN software revenues in the future!!! Buy and forget about it!! IMO.

Self driving cars is way easier to do compared to programming a robot to be able to navigate your home, do the laundry cut the grass etc. That is probably a decade away. But for single use or minimal task robots in factories will be much easier to program.

Tesla just announced today these robot will cost $10, 000. If that is correct, then this idea of a recurring income of $30, 000 a year is gone.
