Terrible take by Jason Whitlock, here. Try flipping this story around. We're hosting the Olympics in the United States, a Brazilian star (let's say a star player from their soccer team) pees all over your gas station, breaks a door, and then slanders a security guard for stopping them, insinuating America's got a gun crazies problem. Jason, and Americans like him, would be UP IN ARMS over this, demanding an apology and defending the security guard.

It's so sad that we are spending so much media time on this guy with a possible developmental delay that went on a drunken binge and made a mistake. It's like a guy in a coma pees on the bed so now we are publicly punishing him. Ryan doesn't seem to be all there. It's obvious when he speaks that his intellectual abilities are limited. It's like punishing Elmer Fudd or something like that. I feel bad for us that we are using this situation as an opportunity to lynch some guy that has a difficult time forming sentences during interviews. He's probably a cool guy just kind of slow. We need to move on let this poor guy be.

So why the fuck didn't he say that they were guards and that they forced him to pay then?? Why did he invent that it were thugs posing as guards that took his wallet and watch (not only this is a lie but a dumb one it would be much more believable if he said they took his cellphone that's what the robbers go after the most, he is not only a liar but a dumb one hahaha). You wanna know why? Because of he had said that they were real officers and that they took money from him (supposing part of it is close to the truth), everyone would ask him why the hell he was being stopped by pollice officers in the first place and then he would have to admit to his embarassing acts and he didn't want anybody to know the dumb shit he did while drunk. So instead the dude cowardly fabricates a story to explore the Brazil's lack of credibility with the media, knowing everyone will believe in him and his robbery version given the image the country has. I mean I think if he had admitted to everything he did and said the officers stole money from him, it wouldn't be that bad, sure we would reprimand his actions but his image wouldn't be ruined forever because while what he did drunk was completely wrong, it doesn't make him a bad human being; lying after and insisting on that lie, on the other hand, shows his lack of honour
