What if joyboy haki was so strong he was able to predict the future and I know it sounds crazy and that would explain why the robot woke up before luffy had the fruit because the 5 elders has to be super old too and he’s wont everything on the last island and when he would die and when the fruit would appear. So Roger knew he was too early.

The comparisons between Divine Departure clearly tell us Roger was stronger.
He didn't hit Oden seriously, yet sent him flying farther than when Shanks hit Kid.
And Shanks hit kid seriously, probably not at full power, but he went seriously, and sent him flying a much shorter distance.
Also Oden is in theory stronger than Kid too, considering he injured Kaido.
Also we know that if Roger goes seriously he goes full Conqueror's like when he did with Whitebeard. If he had hit Oden with a serious Divine Departure, Oden would've probably ended up even worse than Kid.

So no, Shanks is very strong, but Roger is stronger
