I think everyone takes things way too seriously. When it comes to being an artist of any kind of course there are going to be differences between the person and creation made by the art and PR firms. Instead of dissecting every part of these people's lives just enjoy the art that they create and call it a day.

@5:00min Dolly Parton is one of my favorite people in this video because all of these younger women would be better off emulating her. She makes no bones about her being a contrived persona but the real her is a very shrewd and masculine type of intelligence. She shows who she really is by the fact she was one of the first female country and music artists to write and own the publishing rights to her material. And her other business successes she's had over her 50+ year career. This is the kind of a human being I can respect. And entrepreneur and a sensual woman!

Lana Del Rey's father had nothing to do with Lana's musical career, she made her own way and for that reaso she had many problems because she did not have the help of anyone to advise her and she signed a contract with a record label to record 11 albums for only nine thousand dollars. Her current managers discovered her singing in a bar and they helped her get out of that absurd contract and start from scratch. I find it so pathetic that ppl continue to question the talent and authenticity of Lana Del Rey, Lana has an impeccable musical career and is one of the most influential artists in music, she was recently chosen as the artist of the decade and her music, her style, her aesthetics, her songwriting changed the course of music forever, Lana has influenced a whole generation of new artists who simply wouldn't be what they are without her. These types of videos only make it clear how little or nothing you know about music and show that they only want to create controversy...
