My first try i mistakenly thought hotter would make more thinner strigs and colder would make thicker chuncks and splatter .
But the second time i heard hotter was thicker brittle wire like candy and cooler was more light and fluffy so I watched the big bowl to see if the melted candy wasstarting to form a ring around inside of melted candy not cooling into string and I turned the heat down and i noticed no more waste and much more cotton candy from less sugar .

I also have to heat it up for 10 minutes or so before I add the sugar.

AND how do you clean the burnt sugar off the cage part (not the piece that spins)?

I got the same one and I didn’t get the flavors did yours come with the flavors and I did the spinning the paper roll wrong so that is cool so thankyou

I have not had any luck with my machine working that well. Its almost like the fan doesn't blow it up so I can catch the floss, so I have to dig it out and it get caught on the heating element and melts...
