Once upon a time, I bought the Grapefruit Makeup Wipes and they burned my face so I used them to clean my kitchen floor.

Quick summary

1.Oil free acne wash (causes sensitivity irritation, has fragrance ) 👎

2.Grape fruit cleanser ( same thing and causes even more irritation ) 👎

3. Neutrogena makeup wipes (terrible for environment don’t buy )

4. “Natural” (pretty much the same thing ) 👎

5. Hydro boost gel ( has glycerin & has fragrance not the worst but not the best

6. Hydro boost serum (bisabolol has fragrance "the best that the line has to offer” )

7. Hydro boost cleansing gel (has fragrance but it’s not a big deal with cleanser) 👍

8. Dry touch sunscreen ( his favorite product and does like )👍 👏

I used the "oil-free acne wash" ONE DAY and my skin dried to the point of flaking and my face was red and irritated, I could neither put makeup on my face or put on creams, that was 5 days ago

I've been watching Hyram's videos since high school and now I'm majoring in pharmacy. I used to always believe what Hyram said and take it as my own opinion, but now I'm more nitpicky about his opinion. Neutrogena actually has some fragrance-free fantastic product. As I'm learning more about formulation, bioavailability, stability, and more importantly safety of product, I feel like like this ingredient biased review would make some people miss out on some amazing, well researched product that actually do what they claim to do. Their retinol is especially fantastic and fragrance free as well. I agree on fragrance as sensitizing ingredient, as I myself is sensitized by most fragrance and essential oils. But bear in mind anything could be sensitizing as everyone's skin is different. All in all, as someone who have matured from just viewers to actually learn what goes behind the scene is that review of a brand that is so biased towards the ingredients is kind of unnecessary. It would be good if he visits few other approach other than the one he usually does to review a brand. I think because this is an old video there are so many things I disagreed with, but I'm sure his recent video has improved and his opinion is not as biased as these old ones.

I've been using Neutrogena grapefruit face wash for 5+ years and had very minimal acne or skin problems. I tried Hyram's recommendation of the Simple face wash for over a month and had the worst breakouts I've ever experienced.

My dermatologist used to recommend a lot of Neutrogena products, and my skin was great. Hyram isn’t a god, you can like something he doesn’t

EDIT: this comment wasn’t targeted at Hyram, I really like his channel and I think he’s great, and he does say in the beginning of every video that he isn’t a doctor or anything. This was more targeted at people in the comment section that believe that if something is not Hyram approved than it’s trash and won’t work
