I fly Club Europe about 4/ 5 times a year and the entire experience has improved greatly. The food in particular has been great and I liked a wine so much I bought a case from Wine Flyer. This is a great video and cuts so much of the unnecessary content that so many others include. Thanks.

Thanks, I really enjoy your channel. My spouse and I will be traveling BA from Barcelona to London Heathrow in October 2023. Yes we are in British Club Europe and will be continuing on from Heathrow to our home in Las Vegas, also Business Class.

I only fly CE and people should keep in mind that you don’t want to get the tickets straight in club but economy then upgrade to club. It’s usually about £100 per flight. Just for the luggage allowance it’s TOTALLY worth it

I enjoy your reviews - well edited and very informative. Will be taking my very first flight with BA in August. Opted for Club Europe mostly because of the checked back allowance, Fast Track, and Lounge access. I fly quite a bit in the States, mostly on Delta. I was unpleasantly surprised by the additional cost to select a seat after paying extra for Club Europe - that is a decidedly discount carrier thing to do (Frontier, Allegiant, Spirit, etc.). Its just two short flights - LHR to GLA and then EDI to LHR - long haul is on DeltaOne. As such, we will play seat roulette - and my wife and I may be seated in separate rows. It isn't the money, it is the principle. BA wasn't cheap - but direct flights from SLC to LHR using points will help make the trip.

This video is good, showing the lounge and interior of the aircraft. This is what a review should be about, - the food, the interior, seats, service….you got it right. Most other vlogs spend 4/5 of the video showing views outside the aircraft- push back, cruising amongst the clouds, landing…yawn!

BA is always late to depart and late to arrive; never on time. This often causes missed connections and luggage delays or missing luggage. It’s quite easy to blame the airport, but the airline is at fault for not being realistic in scheduling and provide a large buffer time for arrivals; should show longer flight times, and also allow planes to carry more fuel for pilots to increase flight speed to catch up lost time whenever behind schedule.

flew from Paris To london, a few days ago, was delayed because of storms in the Paris area. We waited an hour on the tarmac, they came round and asked what drink we would like, then nothing, we waited an hour for take off, no explanation why no drink given.

Just discovered your channel and have subscribed. Very much appreciate the straightforward, informative format - along with the schematics of the terminal showing security/lounges/et al.

Good straightforward review. I like all the food on BA First and Business post Covid.

This was an eye opener, Thank you. Are you saying that the seats in business (Club Europe) class are mechanically and dimensions-wise identical to those in economy, only the middle seat is not used and fitted with a table to be shared between A-C and D-F seats? I mean there must be more to it than just that middle seat? Maybe extra leg room?

I’ve done Club Europe 3 times this year; mixed opinions but for the price I paid (Amex/avios combo+ cash), the overall rating is positive.

The first two Club Europe flights were LHR-FRA and back. The BA North and South Galleries lounges at Heathrow were a nice environment to unwind in, with impressive alcohol selection but mediocre food offerings. On board, seat is nothing to rave about, the empty middle seat is a nice gesture but makes no difference to how comfortable you are in your own chair. Food onboard? Meh, few pieces of salmon and bread. On the return leg, I was given access to JAL Sakura lounge at FRA; food was marginally more to my taste than at LHR but selection was still limited. Would say it was very stuffy as there were a lot of people waiting for the Tokyo bound flight in the evening, but this could be easily remedied but adjusting the air con in the space.

My most recent club Europe flight was IST-LHR. What I noticed is that the cabin service on that sector was basically world traveller class on an A320; but with better food. I ordered special meal (Kosher) and was given a rib eye steak for dinner, which was fantastic. Tea, coffee, booze free flow with crew handing out snacks throughout the flight. For the duration, it was very comfy and definitely a pleasant evening flight.

Is the food and wine gratis in the business class lounge and in flight? I’m really asking can you have as much wine as you like?
