Ok, extremely minor detail, but I LOVE how there's a smooth transition to their idle animation whenever a character finishes singing. It seems to snap around a bit for Parappa but otherwise the whole thing just looks way more clean because of this.

I like how Parappa and Melodii spitting their rhytms while BF like: "Nah, i'm not gonna talk". This is so cool, the only thing is disturb me is screen shaking when you try to focus and read subtitles.

this is the best fanmade I've seen from Turn Bass, the sprites are so beautiful, they putting the cards, buying cards, Parappa's eyes looking at who's singing, the final sprite of the boyfriend with sunglasses, I loved it so much

The first section feels less like a rap battle and more just like a few friends having a jam session, which I love.

for example, at 2:00, when Melodii tells Parappa that they have a +4, they actually place a +4 on the table!

instead of a few major cutscenes, they just have alot of small, unique poses, like putting down/picking up cards

At 1:47 Boyfriend plays a Draw 2. Shortly afterwards, at 1:57, Melodii picks up a single card and plays a Draw 4, seemingly ignoring BF's card placement. Not only did Melodii lose, but she also cheated in this specific rendition!

Edit: nvm they probably all cheated at one point. Lemme list down what I found:
0:05 Not technically cheating, but the way BF holds his cards is wrong in like 10 different ways
0:22 Parappa looks at Melodii's cards. He continues to do this in his left pose throughout the song
1:10 Not cheating, but Parappa does not maintain eye-contact with BF while clearly addressing him
1:16 Not cheating, but Parappa does not maintain eye-contact with Melodii while responding to and adding onto her statement
1:47 BF plays a Draw 2. Melodii ignores it and uses Pick-Up-And-Play to use a Draw 4 instead.
2:00 Melodii plays a Draw 4, Parappa ignores it and plays a Blue 3.
2:07 Parappa plays a Draw 2. BF ignores and plays a Green 2 instead. Immediately afterwards, they forget BF exists and play against only eachother. That one is on Melodii, as she plays directly after Parappa without any input from BF
2:10 It's difficult to see exactly what they played during that heated moment, but the ending card composition implies Parappa playing a Yellow 7 instead of drawing cards from the stacked +2s. He then immediately picks up a single card when it isn't his turn anymore.
2:11 At Melodii's request, Parappa keeps on going and plays another card while it still isn't his turn
2:20 BF plays 3 cards at once

Boyfriend rules broken: 2
Parappa rules broken: 4 (+ a lot of looking at Melodii's cards that isn't counted here)
Melodii rules broken: 2 (+encouraging Parappa to break a rule at one point

Conclusion: BF is the cleanest player here, but are they even playing Uno? Or are they playing Dos?

Everything is amazing here, I’m gonna be honest I didn’t know what BPM meant so I thought “beats per minute” but then realized the colors in the letters and then it hit me “Boyfriend, PaRappa, and Melodii”. I also really like how it looks like they are literally playing uno!

I absolutely adore all of this, the tiny details like the actual game itself and the lyrics matching it and the extra animations for some events I adore! I'd say tone down the beat zoom at the last quarter of the song as its a bit disorienting but that's only really a minor complaint.
