One of my favorite memories is how the Redswarm Federation (Red Alliance, Goons and Tau Ceti) killed Sir Molle's Titan in an age when Titans were almost unkillable. Props to the bastard for not logging out.

I’ve been playing for 17 years and loved all of it. This brought a lot of memories back. Thanks for going to all the trouble to put this together for us, much appreciated.

The most fun I remember was when the Sov mechanics were introduced, Entosis etc. As a member of CVA at the time we were targeted by the Goons who wanted to test their fleets. We were just unlucky enough to be their chosen test subject. Many fleets were formed, many battles were fought against the Goons but eventually, inevitably, we were ground down. Once they were happy with their tactics they cleared off and we had to rebuild. It might sound depressing but it was the most fun I ever had and, as a long-time hater of Goons, it was nice to be on the killmails when their ships went down. None of that made the history books but I hope I don't sound bitter 🙂

The story of the Guiding Hand Social Club on Ten Ton Hammer (does that even still exist?) was my introduction and invite to Eve Online. Although I never did get fully into nullsec play (I ended up being a wormhole pilot), that story captured my imagination because of how much insane levels of patience and effort were exerted to accomplish the mission. It sounded more like a real world political plot than a game. I was entranced and spent several years in game, got decent at it. Alas, it was too much work and too exhausting in the end. Still, I love the game, I really love the market mechanics, and I have a lot of nostalgia for it. Fun fact: I met Istvaan Shogaatsu, the CEO and mastermind of the GHSC, in Star Trek Online of all places. Even asked him what he was doing in STO, which is completely different than EVEO. He kept his same game handle and was basically chilling in the polar opposite game world from where I first heard of him. I wonder if he was just tired. . . .

If this is how humans live in a game world where there are no rules….. just imagine what the upper echelons of the real world partake in to expand and maintain their power?

pretty cool vid, I'm new to Eve myself so seeing some of these events that happened way back is quite cool, a lot of depth and lore there.

When they added gate guns, and then Concord, m00 returned to gate camp by using non-aggroed pilots to rep them, easily tanking all the damage. At the time, NPC's didn't aggro reppers. You had to actually shoot them to aggro. The solution this time, was obvious and easy for CCP to implement.

My favorite part of EVE is when I uninstalled it and got my life back.

It's a shame that we may never see stuff like this again in Eve.
I hope we do though

Good summary of the main events of the game.
Unfortunately, I got into this game too late and was forced to take a break after the recent changes :(
But I will be back soon.

That was a really nice short vid on a few moments of EVE. You could do a series, so much more to delve (pun not intended) into.

i was there when bob fell. we took querious in 04-05 with FIX and fought continuously. bob was in delve. when they dropped, IAC, AAA and several others came and attacked us because they knew we would come down and defend bob. several of us took AF down and were taking out goon stragglers. they kept hot dropping carriers on our AF/inty fleet. LOL. i accidentally jumped into goons staging area on the day it happened. there were over 300 BS on the gate with scimi's pumping up their targeting. i was in a cepter. i clicked on the gate, clicked jump and hit mwd and woke up in station. instalock artie boats saw to that. they had that place locked down bigger than shit.
