This was my very first wheel and it opened an entire new world of racing for me. I used it for over 3 years with no fault and it brought me un-measurable amounts of joy.
Its perfect for getting into sim racing or moving away from a controller and gives you the change to decide if you want to start going down the road of sim racing.

I hold this wheel dear to my heart. The only problem that I had was not with the wheel but the pedals. The teeth on the pedal that connect to the actuator eventually snapped (in the 3rd year of use) during an intense racing in F1 fighting for the lead and the acc pedal stopped responding leaving me gutted but also put a smile on my face as it gave me a huge sense of immersion on the emotional side as I truly felt what a driver must feel when a technical issue stops their race, it was amazing.

This was my first wheel, the only improvement it should have more of a turning radius

There are no "slightly more expensive" wheels with force feedback. They're all expensive....great video. Provides tons of insight

There is a secret sensitivity setting on this wheel that will help prevent you spinning. Hold both rear paddles then while holding press y and b you will notice the small white light on right hand side flashes. 1 flash =most sensentive up to 4 flashes for least

I had this wheel for about 3 yrs and later upgraded to a force feedback my recommendation is if you play mostly car games but you also like to play others this is the wheel for you it’s easy to move around and it’s simple to set up while others are more complex I could easily hook/ unhook this up to my Xbox in a few min this is also good if you are looking to start sim racing and you get to learn the controls and how to navigate your games

The one major point you missed was the low maximum wheel rotation. And that results in it being overly sensitive in many games, or having to make compromises with use of non-linear steering input.

I can say from owning one for 6 years and using it for 6 years with hard racing and it still all works. Great for a beginner

I was gonna get this, but now I'm so glad I held out for a G920. Force Feedback was (and is) the coolest thing ever!

I had this thing for my first sim wheel, and it was ok for the first three days. after that, it glitched out so that whenever I tried to drive straight, it would think I pulled a sharp left, but every other direction was fine. I brought it back to gamestop to return it, and they told me that every single one they had ever sold had been returned for an issue of some kind within the first two weeks of ownership. I strongly recommend buying something else like the thrustmaster TMX wheel, which is the one I have now, and has had no issues

This was my first ever wheel. It was very fun when I did get it, got it for 100 USD at Walmart. One thing I hated the most was the steering rotation being locked and didn't have that much. This was so much fun moving away form a controller. When I got my PC a year ago I got tons of racing games to be faced with it only working on Xbox. So now I purchased a G920 with the shifter and cant wait for it to arrive. This steering wheel was great. Only thing that broke on me was the desk clamp because I over tighten it. I would recommend it to the age range 11 and below, kids like me will have so much fun on this wheel.

I had this wheel about 5 years ago before I had a ffb wheel, for casual games like Forza it is more than enough to consistently win online races, I even regularly drifted with this thing. You need to treat it like a controller with the lack of force feedback. If you're any good with a controller, then you should be able to get used to this pretty quickly.

If you've never had a wheel then you'll enjoy this, if you've used any other wheels before then this will still do the job but just feel underwhelming. I'd recommend just saving up for a tmx, much better value for money.

Mine ended up breaking after less than 6 months, got a tmx after which lasted 4 years, now I have a fanatec clubsport V2.5

I used to have this wheel, it held up playing fh4 for about 2 months, broke eventually, and when I opened it to look what was wrong, the things that stop it from rotating further than 240° had an intentional weak spot in them. Which I REALLY didn't like, but it was fun while it lasted,

Conclusion:don't take it rallying in fh4.

I have a t80. Great fun, you'll go quicker than a pad (probably) but I hit the skill ceiling pretty quick. Knowing there's at least a couple of seconds left on every track, but not having the feedback or sensitivity to get there became very frustrating.
But with gt7 around the corner, I've convinced the wife to get me a g923 for my birthday 😁

This was my first racing wheel a couple of years ago, and honestly it's much more involving feeling when driving with a wheel to comparison with driving on controller. It's really fun and a good price. It looks and feels good. They tend to develop an issue with the potentiometer making it recogize false inputs making it a bit annoying, but it happens first at least to me after quite some time, like 2-3 years of pretty heavy driving to what I can recall. But I even got a free replacement so I'm really satisfyied with the whole thing

I have this one, no force feedback as it was mentioned but you can play F1 games with all assists turned off with no problem at all

Inside the box (besides the peds and wheel) there are three squarish pieces of cardboard. Partially attach the smaller piece and attach the other two same sized pieces to the outside of the center piece and tighten everything down. That will somewhat stabilize your racing wheel on your lap until you get a proper setup. 🙂
