Just when you thought you were done with overdrive/distortion purchases (are we ever?) Wampler and Brent Mason unleash this rather tasty offering on us. The ReWired takes all the goodness from the original(s) and adds separate in/out for each channel, Fat control for each channel and a Blend control over the Overdrive mix which you never knew you needed until you try it. You can run the overdrive to distortion or distortion to overdrive thanks to the Order toggle. If you make use of the separate I/O you can stick something like an EQ pedal between the overdrive and distortion or enjoy two great dirt boxes in a looper situation. The ReWired will happily see 9-18v and it's built to last as are all Wampler pedals. If Brent Mason has signed off on it, it must be good. Simple as that.

Good demo, Wampler make good pedals. The 'blend' control is inspired. tasty playing again! Just to let you know, the link in the description for the Tele demo isn't correct, it's a link to this same video (the humbucker demo). I'm off to find the Tele demo on your channel.

Great demo! Have the hot wired v2. Does this have the same circuits and would it sound identical to the hot wired? Have you compared them side by side?

Maybe I’m not getting something about the Blend control; couldn’t you accomplish the same thing just by reducing the amount of gain? Anyway, pedal sounds great, Brett’s playing sounds great. Glad Wampler changed the color, I never liked the look of the orange versions.
