Other derms also recommend using a little vaseline, cerave healing ointment, aquaphor on the eyelids, corner of eyes, corners of nose, corners of mouth and on lips before applying retinoids. And some recommend not applying retinoids around the area of the mouth/chin due to possible sensitivity.

But what about the comedogenicity of these products? If a patient is using retinoids and got C for hyperpigmentation and comodonal acne wouldn't it make it worse to put those thick products on?

Any suggestions for irritated skin around the eyes for occular rosacea? I’m using castor oil which is helping but was wondering if you knew of anything better

Both Cicaplast products cream and gel break me out... I've tried other creams that are similar, and they do the same thing.

I would never put Vaseline on my face. I would be so broke out you wouldn’t be able to tell there’s a face under there 😂

if using la roche posay b5, need to wash it off after 20~ minutes

I have used triple paste butt past because my neck will become irritated and it has helped immensely.
