How To Use VPP Admin Tools To Find How Much / Many & Where Item Loot Is On Your DayZ PC Server

If you want to know how much of an item has spawned in on your community server, or exactly where that loot is, VPP admin tools offer a birds eye-view of the DayZ Map, highlighting exactly where items are.
Simply activate the Vanilla Plus Plus Tool Bar, then click on the "XML Editor" and then search for an item and "Get Item Stats" to show the location and quantity of spawned loot.

THANKS for all your awesome vids. I am a 50ish dad who works insane hours and started playing DayZ back in late 2018 as a late night "wind down" kinda therapy. I never really invested time in the details of how, why and where of this game. I just played until I either croaked of hunger, got mobbed and off'd by 4 zombies OR met a cool fellow player who seemed super friendly until I got wacked from behind with a zucchini then t-bagged by what turned out to be a 12 year old kid. 3 weeks ago I came across your channel which made me looked into Nitrado and ended up renting a small DayZ server. I got it up and running. Amazed how easy it was I returned to your channel and began watching your DayZ uploads which soon gave me the "itch" to do some modifications of my own. Over the past week I have spent more time augmenting XML files on Note++, tweaking settings, testing and adjusting than I have playing the game itself. Truth be told I LOVE every minute of it. I have learned a TON, and am almost at the stage where I can invite 4 of my other "old fart" gaming friends to my server and let the PVP fun begin!.

Why does everyone skip the most important part how do you open it. Once you SUCCESSFULLY INSTALL, PRESS THE INSERT KEY PEOPLE!!

I have watched multiple videos about this mod and every single fkn one is saying open it up, how the f do I open it up? I am complete new to this, and just installed it

So if I already have community online tools installed will it interfere with vppadmintool? Cause it's not opening no matter which key I press

Due to this being a MOD, does it appear as a MOD'd server in the Launcher and will a player be required to download it too, despite not being able to use it?
Or, should a player wishing to have a "Vanilla" experience on a Community Server, be able to join as though the MOD had not been applied to the server?

I Installed it and no matter what key I push. It won't open, I went to the key bindings and no matter what key I push or set it to, it won't work.

I installed zomberry and VPP and I noticed the zomberry has twice as many spawnable items than VPP, is this normal?

Is VPP the same admin tools used by admins to deal with cheaters..? Another 50 year old here who has just started playing the game and getting my a*se kicked and rarely living more than an hour or so - very much pure survival mode...! I had considered renting my own game server with a few friends but not a clue how to go about this (or modify it if I do rent one) to make things a little easier but fun for me and few others....words of wisdom and advice welcomed...my thoughts are to rent a server, do some admin stuff so that we can do PvP for example with the ability to spawn kit for us etc...?

you say open it admin tool up, how do you open it up what to do press!!, what is the insert Key?? Windows Computers dont have an insert key unless your talking about the ENTER key
